Hellas Sat - is a part of Greek telecommunications holding OTE (Hellenic Telecommunications Organization), the owner and manager of Greek "Hellas-Sat-2" satellite, which was launched in 2003.
This satellite provides direct broadcasting service for southern Mediterranean region, the Greek and Cypriot public television and radio, as well as some Bulgarian and Ukrainian private channels.
